Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights for Adolescent Girls and Young Women

Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights for Adolescent Girls  and Young Women(SRHR-AGYW), is  a project aiming at eliminating HIV

and improving adolescent girls and young women’s health by increasing access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services to adolescent girls and young women.

The project targets vulnerable  adolescent girls and young women in and out of school to communicate comprehensive sexual and reproductive knowledge. The project also reaches parents and guardians and impart them with communication skills to their children and appropriate messages related to sexuality and reproductive health.

Main project activities includes but not limited  to awareness raising on issues related to sexual and reproductive health and its associated complications, conducting HIV counseling, spaces group discussions with in-school and out-of-school adolescent girls on sexual and reproductive health, and  hotline Counseling.

ASRHR – AGYW project will contribute toward elimination of HIV infections and increase access to sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) services to youths. Furthermore the project will be contributing to UNAIDS 90 90 90 targets.
