Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Program
RUT’s GBV Program employs a multifaceted approach to assist victims of various GBV scenarios, including Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), land rights violations, child marriage, etc.
The organization combines legal empowerment by providing guidance on legal rights and procedures with social behavior change interventions that challenge ingrained beliefs and norms contributing to GBV. By equipping individuals with legal knowledge and working to transform societal attitudes, RUT seeks to empower victims and create a safer and more gender-equitable environment for marginalized women and girls impacted by GBV.
