The Right to be a Girl: Keeping Girls in School Program
Reaching the Unreached Tanzania (RUT) holds a steadfast belief that education serves as a powerful catalyst for change, particularly for young girls. However, RUT is acutely aware that many girls confront formidable barriers that obstruct their path to obtaining quality education.
In response to this pressing issue, RUT has meticulously developed a comprehensive program with a twofold objective: to retain young girls in school and furnish them with the vital support required to surmount these challenges. Furthermore, the program involves targeted outreach and awareness efforts to educate families in poor communities about the value of educating their daughters and inform them of available resources but also conduct life skills sessions for girls and mentorship, and in some circumstances, also extend support to vulnerable boys.
